     SAR
(Summary Annual Report)
This is not actually a
form, but rather, a report that is generated from the 5500 form. A form
5500ez does require an SAR.
Basically this is
exactly what it says it is, a summary of the overall financial activity
of the plan for that year. It tells you what the assets are for the
plan, whether the investments gained or lost money, and other pertinent
data. There is nothing to sign on this report, but all participants of
the pension plan must receive a copy.
